I've Started Making Papercraft Tutorial Videos!

Recently I have really been getting back into papercrafting and I decided to join Stampin' Up as a demonstrator! Stampin' Up is a company that is based in many countries around the world, and slowly expanding, and so I feel very excited to be a part of the family.

Today I put up the first in very many tutorials which I am planning to bring, and it's proving quite popular. If you're into paper, gift giving and scrapbooking, please show your support by subscribing to my channel and sharing your favourite videos with your friends. I've called my little business Persephone's Papercraft, and there's a blog for those who are not into subscribing to channels.

On another note, I just want to apologise for hardly ever updating this blog. I feel I don't have much to say, but every time I browse over to this blog I can't get over how pretty it is. I remember working really hard on the layout and feeling really proud of myself for it. So yes, I think I will try to make more of an effort to blog more over here. :)

A Video Every Weekday!

Hi friends! Long time no blog. I've been really busy lately, so I thought for this blog post I'd just check in and let you all know what's been going on. So first of all, yes, I still check the comments on this blog and fully intend to get it back up and running again. Sometimes I feel like I don't have the motivation for this blog, then I browse on over and fall in love with the layout all over again, every time. It's so pretty! I'm definitely making some changes over here though. This blog won't feature reviews of beauty products or tutorials; it's simply going to be a lifestyle blog. Bits of my life that don't fit in anywhere else on the web. I'm obviously keeping the layout, but there will be some tweaks in the menu and sidebars.

And yes, I am still over on this channel. But it's now more of a lifestyle channel than a beauty one. I'm not really into collecting makeup, and I'm much more interested in natural skincare and products at the moment. I'm also a vegan now, for the most part. I'm transitioning!

And very briefly I also have a spirituality channel, and a home education blog & channel (I'm homeschooling my daughter, Talim). The blogs will be uploaded as and when I feel like it, but here's the upload schedule:

Mondays: Weekly vlog or tag video on Angel Armogida
Tuesdays: Spiritual vlog or chat over on Tarostrology
Wednesdays: Story Time with Talim on Homeschooling in London
Thursdays: Some sort of health or lifestyle video on Angel Armogida
Fridays: Book, product or deck (Tarot/oracle) review on Tarostrology

Bonus every other Monday: Another video on Homeschooling in London, probably an educational vlog or some sort of tips & advice for home ed video

Plus I'll be editing and uploading Mark's weekly vlogs for his channel every Sunday! A lot of work huh? I've also got an Etsy shop where I sell Tarot & Tarostrology readings if you're interested! Chat soon guys, much love xx

How-To: Override Default CSS For Images [Blogger]

Since I haven't been posting anything of much substance on this blog for a while, I thought I'd do another one of my popular Blogger tutorials. To follow up on my CSS tutorial on how to change the default size of all your photos in your blog posts, today I'm going to show you how you can override that for certain photos. Sometimes you may need an image to be smaller or larger. The image below is smaller than my default size seen in all my other posts. The border has also been removed.
How to override CSS for just some images?
Here I will show you how to override the default size of your images, and how to remove, add or change an image border. I'm giving this example as these are the codes I used for my post footer. If you look at the bottom of each of my posts, I have an image map with links to my shop and social media sites. The image is smaller than the default width of all my other images, and there is no border around it.
  1. Template > Advanced > CSS
  2. Paste in this code
    width: 400px;
    position: center;
    box-shadow: none !important;
    padding: 0px !important;
    border: 0px !important;
  3. First, adjust the width in pixels. The code above gives you 400px (see image above).
  4. Next adjust the 'padding' and 'border' widths. I set mine to 0px as I wanted to get rid of the default border entirely.
  5. Click Apply to Blog and exit.
  6. Now open up the blog post with your image that you want to use the code for. On the top left of the post editor page select to view HTML.
  7. Locate your image code. It may look similar to this:
    <img src=>
  8. Add the following code inside your image brackets: id="myimage1"
    It should look something like this now:
    <img src= id="myimage1">
  9. You're all set! Preview your image to make sure it works and click save!
*I used to work as a web designer & developer but I didn't enjoy it. Everyone is so fussy and picky and never happy with my work. I think sharing my knowledge this way is much more fun. CSS & HTML codes for changing & adjusting website layouts are universal so if you see these codes/tutorials elsewhere please remember neither of us copied each other. Please share this post with your friends. If you use any of these tips please leave a comment below with the URL of your blog, I'd love to see your lovely layouts! My Tarostrology Blog!

This is a quick announcement to say that I have another blog on the go! I know I have been neglecting this blog for the past few months, but I fully intend to start blogging here again when I get back into the blogging mode. I still absolutely adore this whole layout and the feel of this blog, I love it very much and it would break my heart to see it abandoned.

However, since opening up my Etsy shop (selling Astrology guided Tarot readings) and uploading to a new channel, I decided I wanted to start a blog that I could post regularly about Astrology, Tarot and Astronomy. Although I do have tabs for those subjects here, I don't feel comfortable writing too in depth about them because as the title of this blog suggests, it's fashion and beauty related, and the addition of personal posts and random interests seems okay, but I think too much science and esoteric talk might make me lose some followers!

Now I want to start focusing more on writing about my passions outside of fashion and beauty. I know many of you who read this blog are following me for the Astrology stuff, so now you have a place to go specifically for that!

I have some exciting series planned for Tarostrology blog, including one which I uploaded the first post to today, When Planets Moonwalk. Everyone here knows my whole family is obsessed with Michael Jackson, so I had to throw that one in there. The other two series I have planned are For The Love of Astronomy, where I will be writing about the planets from a more astronomical stand point, and Intro to Astrology, which is going to accompany my Intro to Astrology video series that will be coming soon to my spirituality channel.

I have also started a new Facebook page which you should also out if Tarostrology is your kind of thing.

And on another note, I recently updated my Instagram app on my Android, resulting in me loosing a big handful of followers. There must have been some bug as many people have complained about the same thing happening to them. Please take a look to see if you have been unsubscribed and please do resubscribe ---> My Instagram
